Description: BENYLIN® Chesty Cough and Cold Tablets are designed to provide relief for symptoms associated with chesty coughs and colds. The tablets target the cough deep within the chest and help alleviate other cold symptoms. How it works: The active ingredient guaifenesin works by thinning and loosening phlegm in the chest, facilitating easier coughing and clearance of mucus. Phenylephrine, another active ingredient, acts as a nasal decongestant. It reduces swelling in the nasal passages, allowing for improved breathing. Paracetamol, also included in the tablets, helps alleviate pain and reduce fever associated with colds. Usage Instructions: The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and should not be chewed. The recommended dosage for adults, the elderly, and children aged 12 years and over is 2 tablets every 4 hours, as needed. It is important not to exceed 8 tablets (4 doses) within a 24-hour period and to adhere to the stated dose. These tablets are not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
